Yes, Kathy thank you. It is just sooo sad. I can't get over my sadness and grievance.
I remember you and your church group were so kind to him. You walked with him for a couple miles and gave him a butterfly, cane and homemade soap, if I remember right.
He is so thankful and touched by you and your support.
He is just one of the most wondeful people in the world. I miss him.....

Sending deepest sympathy to the family of Jigme Norbu and to those who were Walking for Tibet with him. His passing is a tragedy and I am deeply saddened. I am praying that his work will continue.

Jigme la,
You left a big hole in our hearts. You are such an inspiration to our younger generations. You touched so many lives in such a short period of time. It was truly an honor to meet you here in Philly during one of your many freedom walks.
.I remember the speech you gave on 4th of July 2010 in Philly" I will fight for Tibet's Independence until I die in order to keep my father's legacy alive"Now it is our duty to keep your legacy alive by continuing your noble cause. You are a true pariot and you will be missed so much. My 10 year old son remembers you so well from Philly -DC 2010 walk for Tibet that you led. I am sure your children will be so proud of you when they grow up.

Om Mani Padme Hum.

Donna, my Whole Soul is quaking. I can’t stop shaking and the tears just run. Please know I am with you.

Jim told me of Jigme’s death-in-this-life when I woke this morning and I just crumpled and sobbed. Now, after starting to write these words, I also notice that my body is shaking but my heart is not heavy. There is no broken heart here. My whole soul quakes but my heart is serene.

I had started collecting the roses so that we could use the petals on the picture of a lotus at the end-of-the-walk celebration you had planned at the Norton Sculpture Garden. They are a deep-deep-deep, beautiful, passionate, and vibrant red. They are speaking to me of him. His heart emanated that passion. He walked the talk. There is an incredible loss but his heart and life spoke so deeply, beautifully, passionately, and vibrantly… My heart is filled gratitude, for his breath of inspiration, his warmth and love and conviction. In-spire: to breathe in. All we can do is keep breathing in and breathing out to others.

So my friend and I who read the Course in Miracles every morning just did that. Here’s some of Lesson 360. The perfection of the lesson for us today is unquestionable.

Peace be to me, the holy Son of God.
Peace be to my brother, who is one with me.
Let all the world be blessed with peace through us.

Father, it is Your peace that I would give, receiving it of You. I am Your Son (Your Child, Your Daughter), forever as You created me, for the Great Rays remain forever still and undisturbed within me. I would reach them in silence and in certainty, for nowhere else can certainty be found. Peace be to me, and peace to all the world…

Dear Brother Jigme-la:
May you rest in Peace!

You have given the ultimate sacrifice in support of the nation of Tibet and humanity mourns your loss.

You will be missed.

It was an honor and pleasure getting to know you.

Your brother, Drew, always and forever.

This is a very, very sad news. Jigme Norbu was a truly dedicated patriot, a man of courage and convictions. His departure is a great lost for the cause of Independence and for the cause of Tibet. I sincerely hope that his selfless acts will serve as examples for all of us.
