Day 19 -FINAL DAY: Indianapolis to Toronto

Today is the final day and the walkers a woke to the motel managers knocking on  RV window asking them to leave.Started to walk in outskirts of Toronto.The winds and chills are getting stronger.

Toronto police heard of the walk through the news and offered personal police escorts to get through the city safely.

Going through China town RV going very slow with the blinkers on and the Tibetan flag flying high on the RV
The public was comming up to the walkers and taking pictures and commending them for there dedication for the cause and Tibet
Slowly going through ChinaTown,everyone watchin the walkers with there head up high
heading towards bloor street then China Town is right around the corner.

The walkers are arriving.2 blocks away SFT Canada and the Native indians joined in the walk.
Walking in and hearing chants and protest against Mainland China
The walkers were received by the leaders of SFT Canada,Canada Tibet Committe,Tibetan Womens Association,Tibetan cultural center,TYC Canada,Chushi-Gandrug,and native Indian Nation and with over 200 people
Introductions were made and speeches were made by the Tibetan leaders

Jigme-la gave a speech towards the Tibetans of what walk for Tibet stands for and to never giveup in our cause and to promote unification among Tibetans and their organization.Then Jigme-la turned and looked at the Chinese Consulate and told them we are not backing off and we are the voice for our 6million brothers and sisters inside Tibet and will continue giving them our strength for the cause!!
Many people were emotional and Doreen the native Indian was very emotional to the Tibetan people and cause.
The walkers praying for the Tibetans inside Tibet today and also praying or the Chinese people too
This was a very emotional time period
After the rally in front of the consulate the walkers,RV,and all those who attended the rally can join by a police escort to the hall for a viewing of video clip and then talks with Jigme-la and Gonpo-la followed by tea and pictures
The audience waited patiently for the program to start!!

Day 18 – Indianapolis to Toronto

The walkers say there thank yous and goodbyes to our wonderful hosts Nyima-la
The walkers walked hard and strong with beautiful views on LakeShore
In the morning Lori and Mark brought waters and a bag of groceries.

She also had seen the night before the walkers talk at a church.

She walked with the walkers a few miles for the cause!!!

The walkers arrived in the city of Bronte.The weather was cool but sunny with a beautiful view.
