WALK FOR TIBET TAIWAN, TUESDAY,DECEMBER,14,2010

Mr.young was our host and took care of the walkers accomodations at a local motel.6 of the guy walkers slept in a room.Some of the walkers slept on the floor.
After eating McDonalds breakfast the walkers were ready to hit the road.
The walkers all getting prepared for the long walk ahead to Taichung border.

While arriving in miao-li and going towards Mr.Youngs office reporters and photograghers met up on the way to his office.The  raising of Tibetan National flag was historical with local city council man and the famous writer Lee Chow
All gathered here to first time ever.Speeches were given in support of Tibet and Taiwan!!

Walking up the hills of Taiwan.Todays weather forecast was going to rain.It did not at all and was very cool, great for walking.
On top of the great mountain the walkers came across a huge stone engraved with poetry.
The walkers were invited for a traditional Hakka lunch in a store that collected  antiques

These walkers finished at the border of Taichung.There were many hills  on the way. 39 kilometers were completed by the walkers
Mr.Young walked the whole route and made it!!!  Thank you Mr.Young!!!!
After dinner the walkers went to an evening event at a used bookstore.Marcus  gave a brief presentation to the audience.
