THE WALKERS IN TAIPEI DECEMBER 9TH,2010 GETTING READY!!!!

After sleeping for a few hours  confused on jet lag the walkers all awoke and were gracious to Jigme-las friends generous hospitality.The walkers had traditional Taiwanese breakfast and enjoyed every bite.Simons son saying goodbye to jigme-la and heading off to school.
Our gracious host Michelle and her son just before departing for a long scheduled day in Taipei for the walk for Tibet!!!
The walkers moving all there luggages and driven to Taipei to stay with Tashi-la President of RTYC of Taiwan to prepare for the December 10,2010 Walk for Tibet.
Jigme-la and Tenzin-la were interviewed by the Taipei Times and liberty Times

about the Walk For Tibet at a local cafe in Downtown Taipei.Thank you reporter Loa lok-sin and Hsieh,Wen-Hua for your interest in the Tibetan cause.

After the interview the walkers went to pay there respects to Representative Dawa-la at His Holiness Dalai Lamas office in Taipei.
Jigme-la with students of Dharma and volunteers for His Holiness The Dalai Lama office.After receiving a tour of his office the Walkers were treated by the representative and staff to a gracious lunch.
Early evening the walkers participated in a conference with a well known chinese author and photographer at a local cafe which was organized by Students For A Free Tibet Taiwan.
The evening went well and smooth with a moving introductory music video of the walk for Tibet and then jigme-la gave a presentation.There were a few debating going on with the Chinese Author and writer with all the walkers and Tashi-la.
All and all after 4 hours later with debating and all the Q”s and A:s Jigme-la, Tenzin-la the Author presented katas to each other out of respect and friendship for one another.

After the conference there were still many questions about Tibet so Jigme-la invited everyone to join the walkers december 10, at Lueng Shung Temple for the Start of the Walk For Tibet.Thank you Tashi-la from RTYC Taiwan and Yoshi-la from Student For A Free Tibet Taiwan for helping arrange todays schedule.
