WALK FOR TIBET TAIWAN WEDNESDAY,DECEMBER,15,2010

Everyone woke up at about 6:00am.The walkers packed all there luggages to move into Taichung city.
Breakfast was eaten at the local 7eleven.The weather was cloudy and rainy.
At the start point across the bridge border orf Taichung.
The weather was raining on and off all day but cool.There was still many honks of support and yells of jia-yoo
The walkers walking through the streets golin into Taichung.A reporter from the Taipei Times came on route and interviewd Jigme-la and Tashi-la.
The skys clearing up for all of us giving the walkers clear road all the way!!!!

Assistant President of Tati  Jian-Chou Liao welcomed the walkers to his hometown.He will be the host for 2 evenings for accomodations
2 days ago Tashi-las back foot with blisters and still walking for Tibet
The walkers kept on going to make time for lunch.

Everyone ate  Vietnamese food before the press conference at Providence University   which will start by 1:oopm.

A number of press and local students packed the hall to hear the walkers speak
Professor Jui- Chin Peng and Proffesor Li of Taiwanese Literature Hosted the event.Professor Li spoke of her volunteer work and support for the Tibetans and the cause.Jigme-la showed a video clip of the walk and introduced Walk For Tibet.

The walkers were invited for dinner by Rinzin-la our hosts for dinner.They stopped by Rinzin-la Fine Arts And Gallery and then headed of to Little Tibet Restaurant

A delicious tibetan meal was made and served to the walkers by there host Rinzin-la and family
Rinzin-la who hosted dinner for all the walkers at his newly opened Little Tibet restaurant in Taichung.

The walkers evening accomodations was hosted by Taiwan Tati Cultural and Educational Foundation.
